  5. Copyright: The university of Alberta copyright office has some useful information about including “copyrighted” material in teaching. There is also recent case dealing with copyright laws in Canada.
  6. University Affairs just published a comprehensive list of freely available lab simulations. I urge you to browse through the different links and identify some material that can be useful to your labs.

    • For courses requiring remote computer lab access, please read the attached notification from IST and fill the IST online form as soon as possible (Deadline provided by IST is July 1st):Fall 2020 – Remote Access to Lab Software form
    • The faculty has received funding to hire 16 undergraduate co-op students this summer to help with the conversion to online across the faculty. Dr. Samer Adeeb and Dr. Evan Davies will be coordinating the students activities related to our department. Please email Samer if you need access to those students.
