Natural Resources Management
Description
The aim of the course is to expose students to complex systems: key systems topics and concepts; system structure and behaviour; and qualitative and quantitative analytical methods for assessing the systemic interactions and behavioural outcomes of alternative management options. Key concepts include sustainability, systems thinking, risk and its management, and life cycles of products and infrastructure. Key methods include system dynamics modelling, risk management, and life cycle assessment.Learning Outcomes
