Masonry Contractors Association of Alberta (Edmonton Chapter) Prize

Description

The Masonry Contractors Association of Alberta was first incorporated in January 1965 as a venue for contractors in the masonry industry to gain the latest in technological developments,
drive innovation, and support masonry education at all levels. They recognize the important role played by the University of Alberta in the training of future masonry engineers for Alberta and Canada.

Criteria

The MCAA Scholarship will be awarded to the student or group of students enrolled in CIV E 479 that show the best use of masonry components into their capstone project, in at least one of the following aspects: a) energy efficiency, b) structural safety, and c) innovation
