Environmental Site Assessment
Description
Protection of human/ecological receptors from contaminant exposure. Key topics: risk management frameworks (guideline setting/use of standards for air, water, and soil); environmental investigation strategies (sample program design and collection techniques, data interpretation); environmental site assessment standards; conceptual contaminated site modeling; contaminant transport calculations. Case studies.
Prerequisite: ENV E 220. Credit cannot be obtained for both ENV E 322 and ENV E 326.
